Lata Mangeshkar, known as the melody queen, left a lasting musical legacy upon her passing in 2022.
Amitabh Bachchan expressed gratitude for the award, acknowledging the efforts of Hridyanath ji and reminiscing about his father, Harivansh. The award, presented by Usha Mangeshkar, has previously honored luminaries like Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Asha Bhosle.
At the ceremony, A R Rahman received the Master Deenanath Mangeshkar Puraskar for his contributions to Indian music, with recognition also given to other achievers in social service, literature, cinema, and drama, including Randeep Hooda and Padmini Kolhapure for their noteworthy roles in cinema and drama.
