Alia Bhatt is marking her digital debut with the OTT film Darlings. Darlings is set to stream on August 5th. Alia Bhatt is even one of the producers of the project. The trailer was released today and it is an interesting one. Alia Bhatt was seen as a revenge-seeking wife who kidnaps her own husband and gives him a pill of his own medicine. She along with her mother files a complaint at the Police Station.
The rest of the story is all about how Alia Bhatt teaches her husband a lesson and how Police Officials investigate the case. The taking is hilarious with the pain of the wife incorporated in the right mix.
Jasmeet K Reen directed this movie. Shefali Shah and Vijay Verma have played pivotal roles. Netflix is the streaming partner of this original. Alia’s Eternal Sunshine Productions in association with Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment have jointly produced this venture.
