The COVID-positive cases are getting increased again. It’s time not to take it lightly anymore. COVID is prevailing and one should take measures while traveling and in crowded places. According to the Union Health Ministry, India reports 2,995 new COVID cases in the last 24 hours which is one of the highest in recent times. This comes after the nation recorded 3,095 fresh COVID cases. The active cases have now taken over the 16,000 mark.
The COVID case fatality rate stands at 1.19 percent, and the total COVID cases were now recorded at 44171551, as per the health ministry data.
According to the ministry’s website, 220.66 crore doses of the Covid-19 vaccine have been administered so far under the nationwide vaccination drive. The recovery rate now stands at 98.77 percent.
