Rana and Sai Pallavi starrer Virata Parvam despite getting fairly decent reviews has failed to collect big at the box office. The movie has dismal numbers. Virata Parvam has collected Rs. 2.5 Cr share by the end of the weekend.
The film has done a business of around Rs. 12 Cr and it is an improbable task for the movie to break even. Venu Udugula is the director of the movie. Though the story is good and the screenplay is riveting, the audiences had a disconnect with the Naxal backdrop.
On the other hand, Vikram has won the box office for the third weekend straight. Vikram has so far collected Rs. 15 Cr which means the film is a double blockbuster. Major is a super hit and has managed to collect decent numbers. Ante Sundaraniki on the other hand has failed to rake in big. It will end up as a flop.
