The latest controversy in tinsel town is the interview given by five notable directors Nandini Reddy, Mohan Krishna Indraganti, Venkatesh Maha, Vivek Atreya, and Shiva Nirvana.
During the interview, Venkatesh Maha spoke about the differentiation between commercial cinema and aesthetic cinema. In the process, he picked up KGF and criticized the way the hero’s characterization was designed. He also criticized the mother’s character. He used foul language to address the issue as well. This turned controversial and Venkatesh Maha who directed C/o Kancherapalem apologized for the same.
He backed his views but withdrew the language he used. However, he was upset that the same section of the audience who were upset with his language had thrown foul language at him.
Having said that, with the apologies coming from the director, hope the issue will be settled.
