Mega Prince Varun Tej has started his next. Varun Tej has been picking his movies from different genres. He will now team up with Karuna Kumar of Palasa fame. The movie was officially announced today and the movie has got a title as well. Varun Tej’s 14th movie is now titled Matka. The poster showed a car and a rupee coin of the 1975 era.
Allu Aravind, Maruthi, Niharika, Dil Raju, and others attended the movie launch event. As per the latest update, Meenakshi Chaudhary has been roped in as the female lead of this movie. Bollywood bombshell Nora Fatehi is the other female lead. It has been announced that the film has Vishakapatnam backdrop in the 1960s.
Special sets are being constructed for the same. Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) and Dr. Vijender Reddy Teegala are bankrolling the project under the banner of Vyra Entertainments. More details about it will be out very soon.
