Telugu Cinema is facing a hard time currently. 2023 is not so exciting year for the Telugu Cinema lovers. All the biggie films from the big stars like Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, and NTR will not have a release in 2023. Prabhas tried his luck with Adipurush but the film disappointed big time. Tollywood wasted the Summer opportunity as well. Except for Sai Dharam Tej’s Virupaksha, no other film released in Summer could make any impact. The entire June is wasted as well.
There is no exciting film in July too except for Pawan Kalyan – Sai Dharam Tej’s BRO. Chiranjeevi will come in August. Both these films were remakes and it bogs down the excitement a bit.
Tollywood is betting big for Dussehra. Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Bhagavanth Kesari, Ravi Teja’s Tiger Nageshwara Rao, and Vijay’s Leo will have a release for Dussehra. Ram – Boyapati film was first announced for Dussehra but was delayed as of now. We have to see whether Dussehra will bring back the glory for Tollywood this year.
