Dulquer Salman and Mrunal Thakur’s Sita Ramam have managed to cross the coveted million-dollar club. The film has crossed the million mark on its second Sunday and is still going strong. All the USA distributors and exhibitors have gained profits from their investment in the film.
Sita Ramam had a great competition from Bimbisara and Karthkeya 2. Yet the movie collected a major gross of $80K on Saturday. Including the Sunday collections, Sita Ramam has joined the milestone club. Sita Ramam has Dulquer Salman in the lead role who is a Malayalam star. He is less known in the Telugu States. However, the movie has shown little impact on that.
This proves that the content is the king. Sita Ramam is directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. Swapna Cinema and Vyjayanthi Movies have produced it on a lavish scale. Vishal Chandrasekhar’s music is an added advantage for the film.
