Shruti Haasan opens up about doing “namesake” roles in Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy

Shruti Haasan is the heroine in both the big films that were released for Sankranthi Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy. Both these movies are doing well and in both the flicks, Shruti Haasan has done a “namesake” role who is there just for the songs and a few sequences.

Her characters haven’t got any appreciation but Shruti Haasan has no regrets about doing them. In one of the interviews, Shruti Haasan said that she was aware of the length of the roles she is doing but did that just because she wanted to be a part of the big movies.

Shruti Haasan is not worried about playing heroine with senior heroes. “It is the director’s call. If he believes I will be suited best with them, so be it. It is the director’s duty to make the pair appealing,” she said.

Shruti is upbeat about the role she is playing in Prabhas’s Salaar which will release toward the end of this year.
