The much-anticipated RRR release date is approaching. There are not more than three weeks and the buzz is already high. The team has kickstarted the promotions once again. USA market for this movie is so huge. The distribution company has shelled out a huge price for the rights. Now, with the bookings opened, the rampage started.
Earlier, when the release date is January 7th, the pre-sales of the movie touched $1 Million which in itself is a huge record. After the movie got postponed, all of them have been refunded. With RRR now scheduled for release on March 25th, the bookings have been opened recently and the craze is evident.
Within a few hours of the bookings opening, most of the tickets have been sold. Industry tracker Jeevi has tweeted that the pre-sales have crossed $400K and this is just from 250+ theaters. He tweeted, “#RRR pre-sales in the USA crossed $400k. The bookings were opened just half a day ago. This is just from 250+ theatres. It’s massive. Just imagine the kind of number we witness when the release date approaches!”
Expect some really mind-boggling numbers from the premiers alone.
