Director Parasuram has scored a decent hit with the movie Sarkaru Vaari Paata. This is the first time that he got the opportunity to work with a top star like Mahesh Babu and he didn’t waste the opportunity. However, Parasuram has apologized to the devotees of Narasimha Swamy for hurting their sentiments.

In one of the confrontations scenes between Mahesh and the film’s antagonist Samuthirakhani, the villain compares himself with Lord Narasimha Swamy. “Do you know why Lord Narasimha Swamy gets covered in sandalwood paste? Because normal people can’t stand in front of him for his Ugra Roopam. You can’t handle my Ugra Roopam as well,” says Samuthirakhani.

This scene where the villain compares himself to the god has hurt the sentiments of the devotees. Knowing this, Parasuram has apologized to the devotees. “Even I am a devotee of Narasimha Swamy and I visited the temple many times. Even after the completion of SVP, I visited and sought god’s blessings. I didn’t want to hurt the devotees’ feelings,” he clarified.
