Nandamuri Balakrishna to turn his focus toward comedy

Nandamuri Balakrishna is known for his mass image. He mouths lengthy dialogues and his movies are heavy on action. We have seen his last movie Akhanda which was the massiest movie in Balayya’s career.

Now, Balakrishna has shifted gears in the selection of his movies. He wants to collaborate with young filmmakers. His next in the direction of Gopichand Malineni is tentatively titled Jai Balayya. Though this movie is high on the action there will be ample scope for entertainment as well. Shruti Haasan is playing the female lead in this movie.

He will be next working with Anil Ravipudi. The director is known for his ample comedy. His recent movie F3 has been a decent hit and is termed as a hilarious entertainer. Balayya-Anil Ravipudi’s project will have hilarious comedy portions, as the director has specified. This was a conscious decision from Balayya to give preference to comedy.
