Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja after two hiccups has finally managed to hold a hit. His latest film Dhamaka might have been trashed away by the critics but the response from the audiences is amazing. Dhamaka had a fantastic first weekend but many expected there will be huge drops on the weekdays.
But surprisingly, Dhamaka held very good first Monday and is steady from Tuesday. From today, Dhamaka is entering the second weekend. So far, the film has collected a distributor share of Rs. 24 Crores which is just fantastic. Dhamaka reached breakeven in Nizam. It is yet to enter the safe zone in some areas in AP and is expected to cross in the second weekend. Overseas is quite underwhelming due to external factors.
Overall, Dhamaka will be a satisfactory product for the investors involved. Sree Leela is paired with Ravi Teja in the movie. Trinadha Rao Nakkina is the director.
