Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Bholaa Shankar is outrightly rejected. There are no second thoughts about that. Bholaa Shankar is the remake of the Tamil film Vedalam which was released eight years back. Meher Ramesh who last directed a film almost a decade back has helmed Bholaa Shankar.
The film carried low expectations right from day one and it carried after the release as well. Bholaa Shankar received extremely negative reviews right from day one and it translated into the collections.
After a disappointing first weekend, Bholaa Shankar got a huge shocker with embarrassing numbers on its first Monday. As per the BO numbers, Bholaa Shankar collected a mere Rs. 25 lakhs on the fourth day which is quite shocking. It shows that Bholaa Shankar will reach its final run in the first week itself. This would be an embarrassing result for a star like Chiranjeevi. It will be on the top of Chiranjeevi’s all-time disasters list.
Anil Sunkar who distributed the film on his own in major areas suffered huge losses.
