Yes, Akkineni Nagarjuna and Akhil Akkineni will be teaming up. They will share the screenspace for Nagarjuna’s milestone 100th project.
Nagarjuna has slowed down a bit. He has faced two bitter results, The Ghost and Wild Dog last year which sank without any trace. The collections are quite underwhelming. So, Nagarjuna wanted to be extra cautious. He will work with established writer Bezawada Prasanna Kumar. It will be his debut project and Nagarjuna’s 99th.
The regular shooting will kickstart in a couple of months and coming to the milestone 100th project, it will be handled by Mohan Raja who last year directed GodFather with Chiranjeevi in the lead role.
The script work is currently going on and if everything goes well, the project will kickstart in 2024 where Akhil will play a key role in it. More details will be out very soon.
