Mega Star Chiranjeevi, Mega Power Star Ram Charan, and director Koratala Siva have decided to repay the losses burnt by the distributors of Acharya. It is known that the film is one of the biggest disasters in the Telugu Cinema. Acharya has done a business of more than Rs. 100 Cr and the film hasn’t even collected half of that. It is a huge loss venture for Niranjan Reddy’s Matinee Entertainments.
Koratala Siva has actually foreseen all the distribution deals and he has taken the responsibility. He has returned a partial amount from his remuneration. Mega Star Chiranjeevi who has recently returned from the vacation has also returned Rs. 10 Cr from his remuneration. Ram Charan has decided to do the same.
Overall, the Acharya team is going to return Rs. 33 Cr back to the distributors. Though this amount will not completely cover the losses, it will certainly give a sigh of relief.
