Ram Pothineni – Boyapati Srinu’s mass action extravaganza Skanda was released on September 28th. The movie has received average ratings from critics and similar responses from the audiences. Skanda had an extended weekend advantage but with the content they had, the film couldn’t utilize it to the full extent.
Also, the film crashed big time on the working day i.e., on Tuesday. The film collected Rs. 35 lakhs on Tuesday. The drop is almost 85 percent when compared to Monday which is a huge dent for the film. Skanda has so far collected Rs. 21.88 Crores share from the six days and the break-even is far ahead at Rs. 45 Crores.
It can be said that Skanda is heading toward a disaster. Directed by Boyapati Srinu, the film has Sree Leela in the female lead role. The distributors are going to lose big time with this movie. Skanda is a back-to-back disaster for Ram after Warrior.
