We all know how big a hit was Kantara. Made on a limited budget, this Rishab Shetty directorial created sensation at the box office. The film went on to create many sensational records. Kantara entered the Rs. 400 Crore club and was a successful film in all the released languages.
Ever since the film got released, there have been demands about the movie’s sequel if not a prequel. Now, the actor cum director Rishab Shetty himself revealed the updates. He has revealed speaking to the media that Kantara 2 will be a prequel.
It is said that there will be a lot of sequences including Punjurli and the movie will be launched this year and will be released in the second half of 2024. The movie will be made in Kannada and will be released in four other Indian languages Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi.
