Actor Siddharth has recently made an inappropriate tweet on Olympic medalist, Badminton player Saina Nehwal. He attributed the sentence “Subtle cock champion of the world… Thank God we have protectors of India. Shame on you #Rihanna.” after Saina Nehwal raised concerns over the nation’s security following the security breach of Prime Minister’s Modi in Punjab.
Already Siddharth has issued an apology letter addressing Saina Nehwal. However, Siddharth’s tweet raged everyone and even National Commission for Women (NCW) asked Twitter India to block Siddharth’s account.
Now, Saina Nehwal speaking to a news agency has responded on this whole issue. “I have no say why I am in trending the whole day. He only said that and he is now apologizing. However, I am glad that he has apologized. He shouldn’t target a woman like that. However, I am not bothered about it and I am in my own headspace. God bless him” said the star badminton player.
