Karthi has delivered a massive hit in the form of Kaithi last year. Lokesh Kanagaraj is the director of the movie who recently made Vikram, a huge blockbuster. After the success of Kaithi and Vikram, the sequels to these flicks are announced. Lokesh Kanagaraj even hinted that the prime characters in both the movies will meet.
Karthi in the latest promotional interview for his upcoming movie Viruman has hinted about the start date of the Kaithi sequel. He said that it might roll out in the early next year once Lokesh is done with Vijay’s project. The exact date is not yet announced but Karthi is confident that the sequel will start very soon.
Even Kamal Haasan is keen to start the sequel of Vikram. Lokesh Kanagaraj, however, is currently focussing on Vijay’s 67th project. The pre-production works are going on. This project will roll out once Vijay is done with Varisu.
