The film has done well in all the other languages as well, especially Telugu. The producers have minted gold at the box office and reportedly, Rajinikanth has took home huge share in the profits.
It is said that apart from his remuneration, Rajinikanth pocketed Rs. 100 Crores as a part of his share. This is so huge for any star. If this news turns out to be true, Rajinikanth is the highest-paid actor in the Indian Cinema.
Jailer, the action thriller is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. Ramya Krishnan was paired with Rajinikanth. Mohan Lal, Shiva Rajkumar’s cameos worked wonders for the movie. Sun Pictures produced this film.
