Vijay Devarakonda after a string of flops has teamed up with his Geeta Govindam director Parasuram. The film is titled Family Star and the teaser which was released recently has been released well. #Airanevanchaalaenti was trended big time on social media.
Family Star which stars Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead role was scheduled for January 13th, 2024 release. However, according to the latest update, Family Star is now being postponed. There is no official confirmation regarding this but it is strong speculations from the close sources.
It is said that a large portion of the movie is yet to be shot. The team needs to go to the US to complete this. Also, Dil Raju is distributing other Sankranthi releases like Saindhav, Guntur Kaaram, and Hanu-Man. On top of all these, Dil Raju is not satisfied with some portions that were shot. He wants to reshoot them. Considering all these equations, Dil Raju has taken the decision to postpone the film.
