Sandeep Reddy Vanga of Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh fame is set to direct Ranbir Kapoor in the movie Animal. The movie will kickstart its shooting this year. Earlier, Parineeti Chopra has been roped in as the female lead for the movie but the actress has walked out of the project citing clashing of the dates.
Now, on the occasion of Ugadi, Sandeep Reddy Vanga has announced that Rashmika Mandanna is on board to play the female lead role in the movie. Rashmika will be seen as Geethanjali. The director wished everyone Happy Ugadi and posted, “Happy Ugadi people. We welcome Rashmika Mandanna to the world of ANIMAL to play Geetanjali.”
Animal stars Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol in crucial roles. More details about the project will be out very soon.
