Prabhas’ mythological drama Adipurush has seen massive drops on the first Monday. After witnessing a superb Sunday and a good weekend overall, the Monday collections came as a huge shocker. Adipurush collected Rs. 4.8 Crores share in the Telugu States on Day 4 and Rs. 8 Crores Nett for the Hindi version.
The film’s total worldwide collections of Adipurush for four days stand at Rs. 293 Cr Gross. The total collection for the movie’s Telugu version is Rs. 90.7 Crores. Adipurush has done a pre-release business of Rs. 150 Cr in the Telugu States and Rs. 320 Cr overall. So, it is still a long way to go for the movie. Adipurush needs to stand tall till the second weekend.
But by looking at the current scenario, it seems quite an uphill task. Directed by Om Raut, Adipurush is an adaptation of the mythological epic Ramayana. Kriti Sanon plays the role of Janaki in the movie. Saif Ali Khan plays Lankesh, a character inspired by Ravana.
