Rebel Star Prabhas’s mythological drama Adipurush has reached its end at the box office. The movie got released on June 16th and the openings are fantastic due to the good buzz and the Ramayana factor helped the movie. However, with negative word of mouth and various controversies, the film’s collections dropped drastically after the weekend. The movie’s theatricals for the Telugu version were valued at Rs. 190 Crores. But the movie only collected Rs. 105 Crores in its full run which means the film ended up being a disaster.
Adipurush’s Hindi collections share a similar story. The openings are good and the collections dropped later. However, for the Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil languages, the fate was decided much later.
Directed by Om Raut, Adipurush has Kriti Sanon in the female lead role. T Series has produced the movie.
