Mega Star Chiranjeevi‘s GodFather surprisingly picked up the Pan India release. The film was released in Malayalam and Hindi languages as well. There were no expectations for the Malayalam version as the film itself is a Malayalam remake. But it is expected that the Hindi version of GodFather might impress the northern audiences with the fact that Salman Khan has done a crucial cameo in the movie.
However, Salman’s cameo had little impact at the box office as the film went on to collect only 4-5 Crores in its run. It is a dismal number. The film is going to lose at least 6 Crores from the investment. GodFather isn’t promoted at all in Hindi. They concluded the promotions with a solitary press meet. It is known that an unknown hero like Nikhil is able to pull off Rs. 30 Crores with Karthikeya 2.
Salman Khan’s fans haven’t received the film with both hands and Chiru’s try at the Hindi market bore sour results.
