Bollywood has been dealing with social taboos off late. They are making movies of urban subjects as well with entertaining scripts. We have seen the likes of Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Badhaai Ho kind of scripts in recent past years, and here comes another interesting take on a bold subject.
Badhaai Do seems to be taken a leaf out of the super hit movie Badhaai Ho. The film Rajkumar Rao and Bhumi Padnekar in the lead roles.
Badhaai Do trailer got released a while ago and it deals with the subject of homosexuality. While Rao is interested in men, Bhumi loves a woman.
Rao proposes Bhumi for marriage just to satisfy their respective parents. However, the real struggle starts when parents pressurize them for parents. The trailer is entertaining and promises real fun. Harshavardhan Kulkarni has directed the movie which is scheduled for release on February 11th.
