The latest gem from Kannada Cinema Kantara opened to rave reviews in the Telugu States as well. The movie was released this weekend and now it is turning out to be pure gold. According to the box-office estimates, Kantara collected Rs. 5 Cr gross from the Telugu States alone. The opening day collections called up to Rs. 4 Cr which is a huge number for a dubbed movie that has a not-so-known face.
Kantara is getting unanimous reception and the Sunday collections are going to be huge as well. Directed by Rishab Shetty, the movie has him in the lead role as well. It has been a special film for the distributors.
Kantara is a folklore drama and is received very well.
