In a tight clash between India and South Africa, SA held their nerves and win by five wickets. India after two victories had to face a loss. However, this loss doesn’t dent their semifinal chances against India much. Wins against Bangladesh and Zimbabwe will see through for them.
But, India’s loss to South Africa has dented the chances of Pakistan. Now, the green team has almost been out of the tournament looking at the progression of the group. South Africa on the other hand with 5 points in 3 games has set one foot in the semifinals.
Zimbabwe and Bangladesh on the other hand have some chances in the semifinal spots. Now, Pakistan hopes India loses at least one other match and South Africa loses their remaining games. We have to wait and see how things will pan out.
