Matt Renshaw will replace David Warner as the concussion substitute for the ongoing test match against India in New Delhi. With the Australian regular opener Warner took a blow to his arm and also copped a hit on his helmet on the opening day of the match, he felt weary. Mohammed Siraj’s fiery deliveries disturbed Warner.
Usman Khawaja who scored a half-century on the opening day admitted the same about Warner. After the medical team examined Warner it has been taken a call that he will no longer be part of the ongoing test match and the Australian team management picked Matt Renshaw who was dropped initially from the playing XI as a concussion substitute.
Renshaw has been picked as a like-for-like replacement and hence he can’t bowl in the test match.
