Kolkata Knight Riders have finally won. The team has suffered five consecutive losses and was almost out of playoffs contention. However, in yesterday’s match against Rajasthan Royals, they have managed to win quite comfortably in the end and register a win. Rajasthan Royals were asked to bat first. Again, RR batting failed. Jos Buttler’s scratchy innings end at 22. Sanju Samson has registered his first fifty of the season. Shimron Hetmyer has scored quickly and as a result, RR has posted 152.
In reply, KKR hasn’t got a good start and they are used to it. Indrajith who was asked to open fell for 15. Shreyas Iyer tried to stabilize the innings but only succeeded to some extent. However, the partnership between Nitish Rana and Rinku Singh has handed over the win to the team.
