Sunrisers Hyderabad has scored five consecutive wins after facing two back-to-back losses at the start of the season. Now, the franchise has again lost two matches in a row. Their fixture with Chennai Super Kings has ended up as a loss. Kane Williamson is back to win the toss. He has again elected to field first.

Unlike their remaining fixtures, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway gave CSK the best start. They started slowly but picked up the pace at the end of the powerplay. They scored runs at will. SRH lost Washington Sundar early as he injured himself while fielding. He hasn’t bowled in the innings and that has shown a major impact.

For the first wicket, CSK openers added 182 runs. Ruturaj Gaikwad has helped himself with a brilliant 99. Even Devon Conway has batted brilliantly with 85 not out. CSK has made 202 in their 20 overs.

SRH openers gave the team a perfect start. They scored 46 in just 4 overs but back-to-back wickets of Abhishek Sharma and Rahul Tripathi have dented SRH’s chances majorly. Kane Williamson couldn’t get going. Aiden Markram fell early looking for quick runs. Nicholas Pooran’s fifty was in vain. As a result, SRH lost by 13 runs.
