India will open their Asia Cup campaign against Pakistan and the group game will be played on September 2nd in Kandy. However, it will be Pakistan and Nepal which will be opening the tournament with a clash on August 30th in Multan.

The arch-rivals are all likely to meet again in the Super 4s on September 10th in Colombo considering that both teams progress to the next stage. India, Pakistan, and Nepal are teamed in Group A while it is Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh set to fight out in Group B which can be considered as the group of death.

Instead of three venues, there will be four for the Asia Cup – Kandy, Colombo, Multan, and Lahore. India will be playing all their matches in Sri Lanka.

The tournament will kickstart on August 30th and will end on September 17th, the Final. The venue for the final is yet to be decided.
