Something that nobody would have expected before the series, India is on the verge of facing a whitewash. After losing the first two ODIs and the series as well, the Third ODI will begin today and Team India expects nothing but a win. Under the leadership of KL Rahul, the team doesn’t look close knit and the stand-by captain wanted to change that. He is looking forward to scoring his first win as Indian Captain.
First things first, India looks off-colored when it comes to bowling. The opening spell proves to be decisive for any game but India has been struggling in the first 10 overs to take wickets. They have the worst record. In the last 23 ODIs, India has only taken 10 wickets. Paarl pitch behaved mostly Indian than South African, yet India failed to utilize the advantage. The spinners Ashwin and Chahal proved to be ineffective. There has been no firepower in the batting as well.
Team India wanted to change this perspective and prove once again that they are the match winners.
