Shubhman Gill has taken the opportunity with both hands as he scored an impressive ton on the third day of the test match. The Ahmedabad test which is batting-friendly is moving towards a draw. By the end of the third day, India scored 289 runs with a loss of three wickets. Shubhman Gill scored 128 runs while Rohit and Pujara scored 35 and 42 respectively.
Virat Kohli who is struggling with form in test cricket has scored a half-century after January 2022. He along with Ravindra Jadeja is playing cautiously and India is still trailing by 191 runs. With only two days left in the test match, all three results are possible but a draw is more likely if the teams continue to play as they are.
The three Australian spinners picked up the three wickets so far. India will look to score quickly tomorrow and try to take a lead in the test match.
