Sunrisers Hyderabad, one of the successful franchises of the Indian Premier League from 2016 to 2020 has been struggling for two years. SRH finished 8th in the points table for the 2022 season while they got the wooden spoon (finished 10th) for the 2023 season. Brian Lara who joined the SRH campaign as the mentor became head coach replacing Tom Moody for this year.
However, many cricketing decisions from SRH were surprising and shocking. It has been said that the management is half-responsible for the side’s drastic performance. Speculations have already started that Brian Lara will be replaced as the head coach of the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
In this regard, there are further speculations that Ex-Star Indian allrounder Yuvraj Singh will become the head coach of the Hyderabad-based franchise. It is well known that Mr. Singh retired from the league but has mentored New York Strikers in Abu Dhabi T10. Yuvraj Singh won IPL with SRH in the year 2016.
