The first game between the new franchises Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants ended up in a thriller. It provided wholesome entertainment for the audience. Gujarat Titans have won the toss and elected to bowl first. Batting first, was a huge hurdle for the team LSG. KL Rahul fell the very first ball. Quinton de Kock too went out for a Shami beauty. Shami has impressed everyone with 3 wickets for just 25 runs. The ever-reliable Rashid Khan took 1 wicket for 27 runs. Deepak Hooda, Ayush Badoni has scored half-centuries and Krunal Pandya impressed by scoring quick-fire 21 runs in 13 balls. He has even impressed by giving just 17 runs in his bowling as well.
Rahul Tewatia and Abhinav Manohar shine in the Gujarat innings. Mohammad Shami was adjudged the player of the match.
