India will play three ODIs against Zimbabwe and BCCI has announced the squad. The management has retained Shikhar Dhawan as the captain of the side who led successfully in the recently concluded West Indies ODI series. Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, and other prominent players have been rested.

Washington Sundar and Deepak Chahar have returned to the squad for the Zimbabwe ODIs; Rahul Tripathi has been called up for the 15-member squad.

Shikhar Dhawan (C), Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shubman Gill, Deepak Hooda, Rahul Tripathi, Ishan Kishan, Sanju Samson, Washington Sundar, Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Deepak Chahar, Kuldeep Yadav, Avesh Khan, Prasidh Krishna, Mohammed Siraj.

Yuzvendra Chahal and Bhuvneshwar Kumar have not been picked as well. The tour of the Zimbabwe series ends five days before the Asia Cup which will happen in the UAE. That’s why BCCI hasn’t considered many of their first-choice players. All the three ODIs against Zimbabwe will happen in Harare. The ODIs will be played on the 18th, 20th, and 22nd.
