The copyright allegations of Koratala Siva for the movie Srimanthudu have taken a new turn after the Supreme Court gave its verdict in favor of writer Sarath Chandra who alleges that the Koratala Siva has copied his Chachentha Prema novel published in Swathi Magazine. After the verdict, Sarath Chandra has been giving interviews to the media and giving his version.
He is saying that the team of Koratala Siva is ready to pay him Rs. 15 lakhs to settle the issue outside the court but he doesn’t want money. He wants Koratala Siva to issue a public apology or warn him of facing jail. Sarath Chandra also presented his story of Chachentha Prema. He alleged that the Koratala Siva changed the village name from Deverakonda to Deverakota from his novel. He says that the entire story of Srimanthudu has been copied from his story. Sarath Chandra has been fighting for justice for the past 9 years. Will Koratala Siva come out and give his version as well?
