There have been lots of discussions around the future of Indian cricketing legends Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in the shortest form of cricket. The two seniors have been included in the T20 series squad that will play against Afghanistan. India will play Afghanistan for a three-match T20 series and Rohit Sharma will be leading the side once again.
This will be the first time that the duo are playing the T20 Cricket after the semifinal exit against England in the Semifinals in 2022. The other senior players like Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohammed Siraj haven’t been included in the squad. The three-match series will start in Mohali on January 11th.
