Direction: Shree Karthick

Sharwanand has been lying low with continuous flops. He needs to score a hit and came before the audience today with the flick Oke Oka Jeevitham which is a science fiction thriller. Let us check on how the movie is.

Story:
Aadi, Chaitu, and Seenu (Sharwanand, Vennela Kishore, and Priyadarshi) are three childhood buddies who had their own problems. They cross paths with a scientist named Paul (Nasser) who works on a time machine. Aadi, Chaitu, and Seenu takes the time machine to change their destinies and travel 20 years back.

What will happen next?

Performances:
Sharwanand is suited well for the role. He is more of an emotional man and his emotional sequences in the film are top-notch. His chemistry with Amala, and his chemistry with Vennela Kishore and Priyadarshi worked out well. Overall, it s a good comeback from him.

Amala Akkineni is the star of the film. It is refreshing to see her in the mother’s role. Vennela Kishore and Priyadarshi provide comic relief with the former taking the major share.

Ritu Varma hasn’t got much substance to show her acting prowess. She is alright in the limited role. Nasser is well suited to the role of a scientist.

Technicalities:
Shree Kartick should be commended to bring the science fiction thriller into an emotional drama. In fact, the director used science fiction as the base for the emotional angle. He has done a neat job considering it is his debut flick.

Jakes Bejoy has shown a spark in giving the best for this movie. His songs are neat so his BGM helped to elevate the scenes. Editing is fine. The cinematography is alright. Limited VFX is used in the movie, which is good. The production values are decent. The writing though has some flaws is good.

Analysis:
Shree Karthick didn’t waste much time to go into the story. The first half doesn’t have many highs but is passable. The interval twist is decent and sets up neatly for the second half. However, right from the start of the second half to some minutes before the pre-climax, the narration has ups and downs. The movie’s graph raises to considerable levels post that. The climax sequences are well dealt with and will give us a satisfactory feel.

Overall, Oke Oka Jeevitham is a decent one time watch for the beautiful emotion in it.
