It is very well known that the new alliance Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) has moved the No-Confidence Motion against the Narendra Modi-led NDA government in Parliament today. This is the first such motion in 20 years in the Parliament. The last one came against the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government in the year 2003. Though the No Confidence motion was put forward there would not be any risk for the Union Government as the NDA had a massive 332 MPs support.

Coming to the Telugu States, clearly, the BRS government which has been opposing the BJP government for a couple of years already has decided to support the No Confidence Motion. Congress which is a part of the newly formed alliance INDIA will also vote in support of the No Confidence Motion. In Andhra Pradesh, the ruling party YSRCP which is maintaining a cordial relationship with BJP has opposed the motion.

The party’s MP Vijaya Sai Reddy speaking to the media in Delhi stated that when everything is going well, what is the need for a no-trust motion? We are going to oppose it.
