This is probably the first big jolt for the BRS Party in Telangana. The party has lost its sitting MP Venkatesh Netha. He has announced that he is going to join the Congress party very soon and hasn’t disclosed any reasons for that. It will be a setback for KCR and KTR who are trying hard to bring BRS back to the glory with the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Losing a sitting MP just before the elections isn’t a positive thing. It is also known that a few days back, Telangana’s first Deputy CM T Rajaiah quit the party.

Venkatesh Netha represents the Peddapalle constituency and won the MP elections by a thumping margin of 95,000 votes in the previous term. On the other hand, the ruling party Congress is making sure to leave no stone unturned to dominate the Lok Sabha elections as well. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has been implementing his plans already.
