The Haryana roadways bus driver and conductor who saved Indian Cricketer Rishabh Pant’s life by keeping away from the fire following the accident will be honored by the Uttarakhand government. Reportedly, the 25-year-old Indian Wicket Keeper batsman fell asleep at the wheel which resulted in the accident.

Director General of Police (DGP) Ashok Kumar said that both Sushil Kumar and Paramjeet will be honored under the Good Samaritan scheme. Sushil Kumar after keeping Rishabh Pant away from the fires called the Police and Ambulance. The conductor gave water to the cricketer. “That’s why he said his name. I don’t watch cricket, so I don’t know him but my conductor recognized him saying, he’s an Indian Cricketer,” said Sushil Kumar to the media.
