Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy in his review meeting with the health officials has announced that a new scheme is getting introduced in the state. Termed Family Doctor, this new scheme will be launched on August 15th. With this scheme, the patient will have direct contact with the doctor who is working in the Primary Health Centre (PHC).
YS Jagan has ordered to digitalize the Primary Health Centres and all the details of the patient would be entered into a portal. The details include the patient’s health condition, blood group, emergency contact, previous treatment details, medicines being used, etc.,
The patients need not carry any files if the information is submitted in the portal. This information will even be shared to the district headquarters hospitals in the state.
CM ordered the health department officials to make all the PHCs ready to launch the scheme on August 15th. He has said to implement the Aarogya Sri program from August 1st.
