The ruling party YSRCP with all its MLAs has formed a joint action committee (JAC) to intensify the demand for three capitals bill. Though the ruling party withdrew the bill last year, it hasn’t given up on it.
The JAC met today in Vizag and made some key decisions. YSRCP MLA from Chodavaram Karanam Dharma Sri, in a surprising move, has tendered his resignation today. He has written to the AP assembly speaker Thammineni Sitharam offering his resignation.
Dharma Sri has also challenged Tekkali TDP MLA Atchannaidu to resign from his post and go for a by-election. He challenged Atchannaidu to fight for their Amaravathi development idea.
AP IT minister Gudivada Amarnath and former tourism minister Avanti Srinivas also attended the JAC meeting that was held today.
