Former MP Undavalli Arun Kumar made some interesting comments on the Polavaram project. He says that he is mentally prepared, Polavaram will never be completed. “I am hoping that at least a small reservoir will be built,” he said.
Undavalli backed Ambati Rambabu‘s comments that there can’t be a time frame to complete the project. However, he questioned the government on the damage to the diaphragm wall. “who is held responsible?” he questioned.
The former MP demanded that a white paper (complete report) should be released about the Polavaram project and the people need to know. He has also demanded the government rescue the people who have given their everything for the project.
He has also questioned the ruling party for not giving back the Polavaram project to the central government. “YSRCP always questioned Chandrababu for taking Polavaram from the center. What had YSRCP done after coming to the power?” he questioned.
