As expected, Telangana Chief Minister T Chandrasekhar Rao who is also the head of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi has announced his national party on the eve of Dussehra. The new national political party is named Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS). The announcement came after the party’s general body meeting held at Telangana Bhavan here on Wednesday.

The CM’s resolution was approved unanimously by the party leaders and marks a new chapter in the history of Indian Politics. TRS has now officially transformed into BRS. The party leaders raised the slogans, “Desh Ke Netha KCR.”

Former Karnataka chief minister H D Kumaraswamy and other JD(S) leaders and Tamil Nadu’s VCK leader Thol. Thirumavalavan came to Hyderabad upon the invitation of TRS President KCR.

For the past few months, KCR and the other prominent TRS leaders have been taking over BJP and are taking a dig against their party leaders.
