It will be a major setback for the Telangana Police as the Justice Sirpurkar Commission has termed Disha’s encounter as fake. Veterinary assistant surgeon at a government hospital, Disha was raped and brutally murdered. Telangana Police have taken four into custody and alleged that they are the culprits.
Sirpurkar commission, a 3-member panel has submitted 387 pages report to the Supreme Court and in that, they stated that for instant justice, the encounter was created by the Police. In the report, the commission revealed that there has been a huge outage after the rape and murder, and to control the emotions of the public, the Police ployed the encounter.
The commission has questioned 373 people as witnesses in this case and the report was submitted after validating the technical, scientific, and forensic evidence.
Mohammed Arif, Chintakunta Chennakeshavulu, Jolu Shiva, and Jollu Naveen were the ones who were encountered alleging that they committed the heinous crime in the year 2019.
