Ex-Andhra Pradesh MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar fled the cockfight venue that is happening on the outskirts of Hyderabad. Telangana Police got prior information about the cockfight that is happening in a remote area near Patancheru. The officials raided the Mango grove which was organized by Dendaluru Ex-MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar.
The Police have arrested 21 people in connection to this cockfight. However, it is said that around 50 others which also including Prabhakar have managed to flee from the place. Patancheru Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhim Reddy revealed that they received a tip-off that Chintamaneni was organizing a cockfight in the mango grove in the Pedda Kanjarla village under the lights.
31 roosters, Rs 13.12 lakh cash, 26 vehicles, and 27 mobile phones were seized by the Police. Akkineni Satish, Krishnam Raju, and Barla Raju were the other identified cockfight organizers. It is very well known that in 2016, high court has banned cockfights.
